Our Church Services

At St. Nicholas church, we welcome all to our services. Find peace from prayer, music and a warm welcome.

Our ancient site has been a place of worship even before our current church was completed in 1320. That means for millenia we have welcomed the people of Galway for spiritual guidance.

Now more than ever, we welcome you too.

You will find a large, warm community centred on Anglican ethos. We practice the love and acceptance of God for all of our congregation, united in their beautiful diversity.

Seasonal and Traditional Services

In addition to our regular services, we hold seasonal and traditional services such as:

Our Christmas and Easter services including Easter Vigil, Chistmas Carols and more
Bible & prayer courses, Sunday school and Confirmation preparation classes
Musical and liturgical interludes provided by the Schola Cantorum including Compline and Evensong
