Galway City Camino

A Jubilee of Hope pilgrim walk to seven holy places in Galway City, taking place on Saturday 13 September 2025. The seven destinations are:

• Galway Cathedral
• The Franciscan Abbey, St Francis Street
• St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church
• The Augustinian Church, St Augustine Street
• St Mary’s Dominican Church, Claddagh
• The Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road
• The Poor Clare Monastery, Nuns’ Island

Participants begin their walk at the Cathedral at any time from 12:00 noon onwards, where they receive a booklet to be stamped at each destination. At the end of the walk they return to the Cathedral (before 5:30pm) to receive a certificate of completion.

The walk is self-directed. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The cost is €5.00 per person, €4.00 concession (unemployed/OAP/etc.), or €10.00 per family.
