Bell Ringing Experience

Enter the iconic bell tower of St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church and ring the bells for all of Galway to hear.

Before your journey to the belfry our church historian will brief you on the beginnings of Galway city. You will then be invited to climb the winding stairs to a stone room at the top of the church with two pews and a hauntingly beautiful ambiance. Don’t miss this opportunity of a lifetime!

This church is where Christopher Columbus went to pray. It’s a very old and beautiful church. Don’t forget to look up and see the blue dome on top! It’s amazing!! Old cemetery in the back that is worth checking out. The great thing is that it’s in the centre of town, where you can go any time.
