A journey through Stile Antico’s favourite music
Music for Galway is delighted to present Stile Antico, one of the world’s most accomplished and innovative vocal ensembles. Working without a conductor, its twelve members have thrilled audiences on four continents with their fresh, vibrant and moving performances of Renaissance polyphony.
Their attractive and highly contrasted programme will include works by Byrd, Gibbons, Tomkins, Taverner, Praetorius and Tallis alongside Allegri’s timeless Miserere.
