Come sing! Come dance! The 1500s featured a kaleidoscope of sounds throughout court and countryside, and on Sunday afternoon festivalgoers will be able to take part in Renaissance dances that would have been enjoyed by Habsburgian emperors and European peasants alike. Resurgam and The English Cornett & Sackbut Ensemble will be joined by harpsichordist Corina Marti and Ukrainian multi-instrumentalist Vsevolod Sadovyj. Participants will be invited to learn madrigals, pavanes and galliards, culminating in a joyous final performance. We welcome wallflower audience members to come and enjoy the festivities from 4pm.
