ForestAria – a multimedia concert giving voice to women composers, in dialogue with nature and visual art.
ForestAria arrives in Galway on 23 November – 3PM, at St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, as part of an international tour featuring new works by four women composers in multimedia
format.
Admission is free; donations are welcome.
Presented by the Romanian Association of Music Performers (UCIMR), ForestAria is a project where contemporary composition meets visual art, reflecting on the relationship
between creation, nature and cultural landscape. The programme is performed by the ConTempo Quartet, the Romanian–Irish ensemble with over 30 years of international activity
and a sustained presence in the Irish musical life.
