SUMMARY:Alan Stivell- Heart and Soul Tour
DESCRIPTION:Tickets available from the Roisin Dubh website:\nhttps://roisindubh.net/listings/alan-stivell-60-years-croi-agus-ainm-2026-05-26-193000-81046 \n“Heart & Soul” Tour \nAlan Stivell is embarking on a tour of churches and cathedrals in Brittany and across Europe to present a unique project: a concert that revisits his work in an intimate format. \nFrom 1966 to 2026\, sixty years of career that he celebrates here in Ireland with two very different facets. The most intimate\, the one he has already performed in numerous churches\, leads the artist and the audience to a spiritual elevation in rhythm with his heart\, even if the concert is secular.\nLong before becoming a professional\, he was already playing the Celtic harp from Brittany\, recently restored by his father\, notably in 1954 at Vannes/Gwened Cathedral in Brittany\, but also at UNESCO in Paris.\nShortly after\, as a teenager\, he was sketching his own “harps of the future\,” looking like the prototype he brings on this tour. Accompanied by a magnificent keyboardist\, Tangi Miossec\, Alan sings in Breton\, but also in Irish\, Welsh\, English\, and French. Because while Alan Stivell’s world revolves around a center—Brittany and\, more broadly\, Celtica—it’s a world without external boundaries.\nReconnecting with Irish audiences was a dream that has now come true.
