The Autumn series of the St. Nicholas Coffee Concerts kicks off with an international lineup of musicians:
The hugely talented young Italian cellist Davide Forti, currently a Recital Artist Diploma student at RIAM in Dublin, together with a German church choir with much international touring experience, Willich Emmaus Kantorei.
The choir will be singing a wide range of music from Purcell to the ever-popular John Rutter, with something to suit everyone’s tastes. A feature of the programme will be Bach’s Cello Suite No 5, running the gamut from profound counterpoint to lively dance movements.

Further concerts in the Autumn Coffee Concert series:

3rd November: Eve Garavan (soprano) and Panpan Lin (piano)
Classic songs by Faurรฉ, Schumann, Debussy, Mozart and Verdi, teamed with Irish traditional and Celtic Woman arrangements

17th November: Andreea Banciu (viola) and Aileen Cahill (piano)
Works from the nineteenth to the twenty-first centuries – Brahms, Shostakovich and Rebecca Clarke

All Coffee Concerts are on Saturdays at 11am. Entrance โ‚ฌ10 includes concert, coffee and a tempting array of baked goodies.
